"Fairy tales were made for me, romantic, optimistic and perfectly put together." Said the result of a quiz I once took on facebook. Today, this is how I would actually describe myself.
My name is Sulakshna and I love life completely. Like nature, a good listener. I believe Optimism and Perfection are the two ingredients that make the food of life utterly delicious.
Professionally, I am a lawyer and have been working on the corporate side for quite some time. Work front is hectic, occupying and very intense. As a lawyer, I travel to places, I meet a lot of people and I learn new things every day. I would admit that it was in this very routine life where 'one day is just like another', I realised that there is always scope to do other things that we are passionate about.
I was always fond of cooking, right from my young days with my parents. In college, being a law student with limited resources and time, there wasn't much scope to pursue cooking. It was when I actually started working, became independent, I started taking it up seriously. I started watching cookery shows, learning about different cuisines, ingredients etc. I would replicate what I liked and soon I started experimenting on my own. I started making elaborate lunches for myself on Sundays and sometimes for my friends and relatives. Soon I decided to take this to another level and started penning down my own recipes.
On my blog, every dish has a story and I have made each of these dishes with all of my heart. I have also tried to make it simple and have provided pictures for each of them.

To all my readers, I would say cooking and patience go hand in hand and simplicity is the way to go at the beginning. With this blog, I am making an attempt to bring to my readers some 'easy to cook' recipes with easily available ingredients and uncomplicated methods. I hope you will like it.

Sue
